About Us

Chris and Shelley Simmons have been involved in the maple world for a number of years, starting their own maple syrup business, “Simmons and Daughters Sugar House,” back in 2008. Raising four daughters that are now grown, Chris and Shelley and whomever of the family is around, continue their maple syrup venture to this day.

Along with the sugarhouse business, they recently opened this maple supply shop where other sugar makers can come and get the equipment they need to start their own businesses or hobbies.

“It is a privilege to be taking on the Maple supply business, which was formally known as Suga Country Products run by Joe and Adele Suga in Vassalboro. This new venture wouldn’t be possible without Joe and Adele. We have gotten our own maple supplies from them for over a dozen years and have learned a lot from them over that time to help us in our own maple journey.”

This business will be in addition to Simmons and Daughters Sugar House, the new shop being called, “Simmons Maple Supply.”
They are located in Morrill, Maine, on the same farm where Chris grew up with his family, which ran it as a dairy farm. The new shop is located in what used to be the farm’s “milk room.“

Chris and Shelley look forward to this new chapter and hope to serve the maple community well in years to come!
